Men's and Women’s  Ohio Valley Conference Cross Country Champions

2006-2007-2008

Eastern Kentucky University's Track and Cross Country programs have dominated all other universities in the Ohio Valley Conference in recent history. Eastern has won 55 of 114 conference championships in the past twenty-five years of competition.

The Colonels' overall records in conference championships are 486-76 for the women and 357-93 with the men. The women's cross country team has recorded a record 23 wins in the last 25 years in the Ohio Valley Conference, giving them a record of 198-5 against OVC teams, and the cross country men have won sixteen titles in twenty-five  years to hold a 191-16 record over OVC men's teams.

In scoring for the OVC All-Sports Trophy, Eastern Kentucky's track and cross country programs have scored more than 830 points with the women and 620 points with the men, scoring far more points than any other OVC team in the last 25 years.

The men will try to regain the track championship and the women will try to continue their domination in the conference track championships. The Colonels will attempt to repeat as cross country champions in 2008 with both the men and women teams. A win for the women will give them 24 championships. The men will be going after their seventeenth win in 2008.

Eastern Kentucky University's track and cross country program has a very successful past and the future looks even better. This is why winning at Eastern Kentucky University is .......
