RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky University's Sarah Blossom and Daniel Blochwitz competed last weekend at the Indiana University Last Chance Invitational.

Blossom, a senior from Indianapolis, IN, finished first in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:03.0, while Blochwitz, a senior from Niedeswillinger, Germany, placed second in the 800-meter run with a clocking of 1:51.03.

Although placing well in both events, neither Blossom nor Blochwitz was able to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship set for this weekend in Indianapolis.
